FOR JUDGES/LAWYERS | OFFICE OF THE CHILDREN’S LAWYER
Centre York Centre’s policy about the OCL observing visits is that:
The OCL must contact the centre Executive Director to book a time for such observation in advance. A two week notice is requested.
The OCL must provide Centre York Centre with consent forms from both parties.
The OCL must sign a Service Agreement and an Oath of Confidentiality prior to the scheduled visit.
Centre York Centre staff must be present during the visit.
If the OCL needs to get a copy of our observation notes, they can do so by following the "request for reports" policy.
If a report is requested, Centre York Centre will fax the invoice to the OCL office and will allow up to thirty days for payment.
