ABOUT US | A BRIEF HISTORY
1991 - The Ministry of the Attorney General, consults with the Ontario Women's Directorate, the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Supervised Access Pilot Project is then launched, which includes 14 centers across the province.
1994 - The institute for the Study of Children, at the University of Toronto, conducts an overall evaluation of the program. The Supervised Access Pilot Project receives ongoing funding from the Ministry of the Attorney General, and becomes the Supervised Access Program.
1999 - The Ministry of the Attorney General, expands the program to include 22 additional court districts in the province.
2000 - The government provides funding, to enable the provision of supervised access services, in every judicial district in the province.
